Each year, the Pittsburgh Technology Council and Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group gather at Heinz Field to honor the region’s top information technology executives at Pittsburgh CIO of the Year.
It takes great leaders to keep southwestern Pennsylvania's technology sector on the cutting-edge. Companies of all sizes and types have great leadership in IT and security. CIO of the Year honors these individuals.
This is your annual opportunity to recognize and honor the hard work of CIOs and CISOs for their accomplishments at the biggest celebratory event of the year honoring these heroes of the IT world. Cocktails, dinner, and networking round out the night to make this the not-to-miss event for your IT department.
Nominated by peers, industry colleagues, staff, supervisors, partners, and customers, deserving CIOs and CISOs are selected as finalists by the Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group and a steering committee comprised of PTC member companies.
Past finalists include executives from companies of all sizes, non-profits, and education. Each year, the overall most deserving finalist, is presented with the CIO Choice Award.
New for 2016: New Recognition for Chief Information Security Officers
As the need for enhanced data security continues to grow, we are pleased to announce that we will expand our award categories to honor CISOs in 2016. These executives work hard to ensure that information assets and technologies are adequately protected.
Nominees, including chief information officers, chief information security officers, or those in equivalent positions, are recognized for their innovation and creativity in planning and deploying their enterprise systems, future technology goals, management philosophy and service to the industry and community.
