A Voice for Business

Consistent with our mission, the Council has emerged as the region’s preeminent leader in driving a pro-growth public environment on behalf of the region’s technology sector. To that end, our public policy committee meets regularly to evaluate emerging policy issues, to update our priority agenda items and to develop an advocacy strategy targeting positive regional change.

In developing our position statements on various tax policies, the Council historically has adopted a position that seeks to create a tax environment that, at most, is no more obtrusive than that of competing cities and states.
