Screen Shot 2016 10 18 At 100603 AMA team of female designers have changed the game for fuller busted women by creating a completely new system of bra support, starting at cup size E. Using physics and engineering principles, Trusst Lingerie has replaced the underwire with a 3D support structure that injects much-needed innovation into the lingerie industry and offers a better and more comfortable level of support than what is currently on the market.

Frustrated by the lack of support and style options available for women with fuller busts, Trusst co-founders Sophia Berman and Laura West used their backgrounds as industrial designers to do something about it. In 2014, they began work on the patent-pending BAST (Breast Advanced Support Technology) system that supports up to 80% of breast weight from underneath the bust. By placing the support around the core, the bra straps are supporting significantly less weight, leading to fewer shoulder and back pains. The BAST system is also embedded directly into the cup, eliminating the poking and discomfort commonly associated with underwires.

“After speaking with hundreds of women, and experiencing many of their concerns ourselves, we realized that underwires simply aren’t up to the task of supporting women with fuller busts. We want to empower women to feel beautiful and confident in their own skin, and for too long women with fuller busts have been left with options that fall short of that ideal,” says Berman. “As a company, we believe in women supporting other women, and that is exactly what we have set out to do.”

Two styles are available at www.trusstlingerie.com, with the third style available by Thanksgiving. The styles include the Marjory, a t-shirt bra; the Suzanne, a t-shirt style bra with lace detailing; and the Jessica, a longline lace bra (available in November).  All styles are fuller coverage, with molded foam cups that are lined with moisture wicking, anti-microbial fabric.

Current sizing includes: 32 F-J, 34 E-J, 36 E-J, 38 E-I, 40 E-H and 42 E-G. Styles retail for $82-98.
