Lauren Winans | CEO and Principal Consultant, Next Level Benefits

Lauren Winans is the Chief Executive Officer and Principal HR Consultant for Next Level Benefits, an HR consulting practice offering clients access to HR professionals for both short-term and long-term projects. With nearly 25 years of human resources and employee benefits experience, Winans possesses a deep expertise of HR best practices and what resonates with employees. She founded Next Level Benefits in 2019, offering HR teams access to former corporate HR professionals on-demand when they need them most.

Winans is a member of the Forbes Business Council, Business Journals Leadership Trust, and Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).  She has been featured in several media outlets such as BBC News, Forbes, USA Today, US News and World Report, and NBC News. Winans is a non-profit board member and an active volunteer for patient advocacy. She is also a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management and Robert Morris University with a Master’s in Business Administration. 

Wei Yu | Counsel-Intellectual Property and Technology Practice, Dentons

Wei serves as Counsel in the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice. With extensive experience in intellectual property law, Wei advocates for inventors, founders, and entrepreneurs by applying creative solutions to real-world problems. Wei’s practice is tailored to meet the needs of innovators, venture technology enterprises, emerging growth companies, and established global corporations. He offers comprehensive services in intellectual property portfolio procurement and management and provides consultation throughout the entire technology lifecycle from development to commercialization. Wei earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Prior to joining Dentons, founded his own patent law firm, providing expert patent preparation and prosecution services across a range of industries, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.

Marinus van Driel, PhD | Partner, Workforce Strategy Advisor, AON

Marinus is a Partner with Aon’s Workforce Transformation Advisory Practice, specializing in applying people science to reimagine workforce management. He focuses on leveraging advanced human capital analytics, promoting skills-based workforce transformation, enhancing pay transparency, executive development, and providing board-level insights into strategies to enhance employee experience. His clients have included American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Nike, and Wells Fargo.

Marinus is recognized as an industry thought leader, with published articles in scholarly journals on leadership, diversity and inclusion, and organizational effectiveness. He frequently speaks at industry events, sharing insights from his broad professional experience. He is a member of the Society for Industrial/ Organizational Psychology.
