When: March 16, 2021 Where: Via ZOOM | |
Join HR practitioners as they discuss how the region’s workforce will look different as hybrid and remote work becomes the new normal. Even when the pandemic is over, one in six workers are projected to continue working from home or in a hybrid model, coming into the office at least two days a week, according to a recent survey published by the Harvard Business School. This trend has and is going to continue to have a major effect on the job search, recruiting, and onboarding process.
This major shift in working from an office five days a week to a remote/hybrid model, even at a moderate pace for some companies, could lead to more significant cultural, economic, and political changes to our region’s future.
Join us to discuss the future of work for our region and make predictions about remote hiring trends that will appear in 2021.
Panel Discussion/Questions:
- What is the future of the work setting for your organization? How do you intentionally avoid inequities among your workforce for those working from home and those at the office?
- How is your organization promoting wellness and self-care among your employees throughout the pandemic and the changes that have emerged as a result within their positions?
- Did your organization redistribute your employees to adjust to the changes brought on by the pandemic? What skills will have increased emphasis or value when looking at remote workers? How has the pandemic reshaped the future of your workforce?
- What is your organization’s approach to employing remote workers? How do you engage and motivate your remote teams?
- What are the benefits of hiring remote workers?
- What does an effective remote recruitment and onboarding strategy look like? How do you communicate your organization’s work culture and mission in a remote setting?
