Comcast is expanding its fiber-based network to approximately 3,000 homes and additional businesses in Marshall and Pine Townships in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Construction is ongoing with some residents already able to connect to the full suite of Xfinity residential and Comcast Business products and services.
“This project, in addition to our expansion in Cranberry Township, provides important broadband connections that support the educational, professional, and personal lives of Route 19 Corridor residents,” said Ricky Frazier Jr., Senior Vice President for Comcast’s Keystone Region which is based in Pennsylvania. “We are committed to connecting local communities and offering competitive choices for reliable, high-speed broadband services that residents and businesses deserve.”
Residents can visit Xfinity.com and businesses can visit ComcastBusiness.com to see if their address is currently eligible for service. As construction to expand the network continues, residents and businesses can also visit Xfinity.com/MyTown and enter their addresses to get additional details on services and when they will be available. Local Xfinity stores can be found at 216 Chippewa Town Center, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 and 4840 McKnight Road, Suite B, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
Comcast first brought Comcast Business services to Cranberry, Marshall, and Pine Townships in 2020 and later expanded its Xfinity residential services in Cranberry Township, where construction is ongoing.
This extension is part of Comcast’s latest investments in Pennsylvania. Over the last several years, Comcast expanded its network to more than 315,000 additional homes and businesses across the Commonwealth.
