July 10, 2024 — Schell Games, a leading game development company specializing in entertainment and educational experiences, announced two appointments to the Schell Games leadership team.
After years of service with Schell Games, Lauren Reed was named Vice President of Human Resources, and Jared Mason was named Vice President of Design.

Lauren Reed, VP of Human Resources, joined Schell Games nine years ago. In her new role, she manages a team of specialists across the talent acquisition and development, benefits and compensation, and performance management spectrum to help support the employee lifecycle of Schell Gamers so they can be their best creative selves. Lauren also serves as a studio ambassador, championing the mission and values of the studio while striving for an increasingly diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace, where people of all backgrounds and perspectives can grow and feel that they belong.
Jared Mason, VP of Design, has been with Schell Games for 17 years. In his new role, Jared oversees the growth and development of designers at the studio. He is responsible for maintaining a consistent vision and style across projects and design initiatives to create cohesion and promote collaboration. While at Schell Games, Jared’s primary focus has been narrative design, but he also has worked on location-based experiences, app development, and online multiplayer games. Jared has contributed voice-over work for the I Expect You To Die franchise and has written the title tracks for the second and third games in the series.
