LATROBE, PA – Jon Petrie, MBA, C’05, the chief financial officer for UPMC Magee Women’s Hospital and UPMC Mercy, will be the featured speaker at Saint Vincent College’s 2025 Spring Honors Convocation.
The convocation will be held at 1 p.m. April 23 in the Saint Vinent Archabbey Basilica.
In his role with UPMC, Petrie supports the financial decision making associated with the unique missions and clinical care offerings of Magee and Mercy hospitals. Petrie has nearly 20 years of healthcare experience and finance leadership. His past positions include director of finance for Presbyterian Shadyside hospitals and senior director of finance, physician services division.
Petrie earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Saint Vincent and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
As a student at Saint Vincent, Petrie was captain of the men's varsity lacrosse team and a member of the Student Government Association. Currently, he is a member of the Council of Advisors for the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government.
Petrie lives in Delmont with his wife, Jessica, and their children, Alex and Ben.
